It tops out at 250mm/s, which is slower than everything else on this page. At $169 though, it is hard to argue with as a first machine. Max speed is 500mm/s, it uses a PEI magnetic spring steel bed, and auto-leveling is built in. PLA, PETG, and TPU all print reliably. If you have been eyeing the K1C but already know that 220mm is not going to be enough for the projects you have in mind, the K1 Max is the machine to get. The price jump from the K1C is $150 for a significantly larger work envelope.

It competes with the Bambu H Series on paper in terms of build volume, at a lower price, though build quality and software consistency differ between the brands.
